We have now repositioned the overhead utility lines that were running through the future Memorial site to underground locations on the opposite side of the retention pond.  Weather permitting, we should begin major construction on the main plaza area at the site very soon.

Below are refurbished photos of the diesel, the “Big Red Machine”, the two halves of the conning tower, or sail, the forward diving planes, and the upper rudder.  As you can see, they are looking good.  They will be ready for the trip north to the VOA MetroPark in West Chester when the foundation is ready for them.
